BPW International (International Federation of Business and Professional Women) is the global organization of which BPW Brazil is a member. Founded in 1930 in Geneva, its mission is to promote the economic, political and social empowerment of women worldwide through leadership development, professional training and advocacy for public policies aimed at gender equality.

Currently, BPW International is present in more than 100 countries and is recognized as a consultative organization at the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) , in addition to maintaining participatory status in other international bodies, such as the ILO, UNESCO, WHO and UN Women.

BPW International promotes congresses, forums and global campaigns that connect women from different cultures, backgrounds and areas of activity, strengthening a network that works together for equity and sustainable development.
